FAQ

How many children are in a group?

Our groups have between 3 and 6 students , and the reasons are simple:

✅ For attention to detail
Each child receives individualized feedback and answers to questions in real time.

✅ To learn in a motivating environment
We collaborate, play as a team, and inspire each other - but without the crowds!

✅ For guaranteed progress
With small groups , coaches can adapt lessons to the style and pace of each student.

How long are the lessons and how are they structured?

Our lessons last 1 hour and take place in our location in Cotroceni, which is easily accessible. Why this duration?

✅ For maximum concentration
We know that children's attention needs variety - we alternate practical exercises and interactive games to maintain energy throughout the entire class.

✅ For efficiency,
1 hour is enough to cover a complete topic (e.g. a new strategy) without tiring students.

What time and days are the lessons scheduled?

The lesson schedule varies depending on the group and age , and we determine the exact times together after a brief assessment . Why?

✅ Our steps:

  1. free 15-minute assessment helps us understand the child's level and availability.

  2. We suggest 2-3 time slots that fit your schedule.

  3. Choose the optimal option , and we will confirm your group (beginners, intermediate or advanced) and the exact time.

Are the lessons face-to-face or online?

Lessons are held in a physical format, at our location in Cotroceni. Online courses may seem convenient, but in reality, for children, direct interaction with the coach and other peers makes all the difference . In a physical class, the child receives feedback on the spot, can ask questions immediately and is more attentive and involved.

Are the lessons adapted or standard for everyone?

Every child has their own rhythm, strengths, and mistakes. That's why it's essential that lessons aren't rigid. Our instructors adapt the lesson on the spot based on what they observe during play , correct mistakes as they occur, and turn difficult moments into valuable lessons.

Is there visible progress or just filler activity?

A good course is not just about attendance – it's about visible progress from one lesson to the next. The instructor gives homework, reviews mistakes, encourages the child to think for themselves, and adapts the lessons to the children's needs.

Chess must become a tool, not a simple routine.

How easily can you communicate with the instructor?

Open communication between parent and instructor is vital. If you have any questions or want to know how your child is progressing, we assure you that someone will answer you with patience and interest.
